On behalf of the Aloha Section PGA and Mid-Pacific Country Club, mahalo to all of the players who participated in this year’s Mid-Pacific Open, held from April 23 through April 26, 2026 in beautiful Lanikai. Your commitment to the game and continued support of this championship are what make this event so special year after year.
Sunday closed out the 67th Annual Mid-Pacific Open in unforgettable fashion. The final round delivered a tight battle between John Oda and Brent Grant, trading momentum down the stretch. Oda held strong to finish at -10, with Grant just behind at -8.
With calm, consistent play, John Oda returned to the winner’s circle, capturing his second Mid-Pacific Open title after his 2024 win.

This victory carries extra meaning in our Centennial year, securing Oda’s place in club history as the 2026 champion during Mid-Pacific Country Club’s 100-year celebration.
Congratulations to John Oda, and mahalo to the players, sponsors, volunteers, members, staff, and spectators who made this week unforgettable.
The inaugural Mid-Pacific Open was held in 1956, launching one of Hawaii’s premier golfing tournaments that’s been running annually for 70 years. It’s one of only of only three, 72-hole tournament in Hawai‘i, drawing golfers from across the islands and around the world.

We truly appreciate the time, effort, and passion each player brings to the tournament, and we hope everyone enjoyed the experience both on and off the course.
