As we celebrate our 100th year, Mid-Pacific Country Club is excited to usher in the future of golf course innovation with the introduction of a new high-tech tool: Oʻahu’s first fully autonomous fairway mower.
The Firefly Automatrix AMP-L100 is a cutting-edge, all-electric, 100-inch 5-gang reel mower that provides a silent and sustainable addition to golf course management. It’s the first of its kind in the islands, and operates fully autonomously, utilizing advanced GPS and precision mapping technology to maintain fairways with unmatched consistency and efficiency.
Best of all, its fully electric design eliminates fuel consumption and significantly reduces noise, aligning with our commitment to environmental stewardship while enhancing overall golf course operations.
The introduction of the Firefly Automatrix AMP positions the club at the forefront of a global shift toward sustainability in golf course management—as we lead the state in the adoption of forward-thinking solutions within Hawaiʻi’s golf and hospitality landscape.
“This is a proud moment for Mid-Pacific Country Club,” said Ron Haas, General Manager of Mid-Pacific Country Club. “As we celebrate our Centennial this year, it is only fitting that we also embrace innovation and technology that help position the club for the next one hundred years. This addition allows our team to focus on other important areas of the golf course while continuing to deliver outstanding playing conditions for our members.”
Located in Lanikai and rooted in aloha since 1926, Mid-Pacific Country Club continues to invest in innovation while honoring our rich history and commitment to excellence in all aspects of golf, course management and member experience.
